Bible Journal (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) is developed and published by Connecting Dots Infotech (“Company”, “we”, or “us”).

        We are committed to complete privacy.

        Bible Journal is designed to work 100% offline. Your voice notes, transcriptions, Bible verse suggestions, and sentiment insights never leave your iPhone or iPad.

1. Information We Collect

All processing happens locally on your device. We do not collect or store any of your personal data on our servers.

Voice Recordings & Journal Entries: Stored only on your device. Never uploaded.
Transcribed Text: Created using Apple’s on-device Speech Recognition. Used only for verse suggestions and sentiment analysis on your device.
Sentiment History: Weekly/monthly sentiment trends are calculated and stored locally. You can delete this data anytime.
Bible Verses: Powered by a static, on-device vector database of the public-domain World English Bible. No internet required.
Optional Anonymous Analytics: Only if you explicitly opt-in via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency. Contains no journal content or personal data.

We do not collect your name, email, location, or any other personal information.

2. How We Use Your Information

All data is used only on your device to:

Transcribe your spoken journal notes
Suggest 2–3 relevant Bible verses based on your entry
Perform sentiment analysis and show beautiful weekly/monthly insights
Improve the app experience (using anonymous, opt-in analytics only)

3. Data Storage & Security

Your journal entries, voice recordings, transcriptions, and sentiment logs are stored securely on your device using Apple’s Data Protection technology. The Bible vector database is bundled inside the app and never changes or connects to the internet.

4. Third-Party Services

Bible Journal uses no third-party services that process your data:

Voice transcription: Apple’s on-device Speech framework
Embeddings & verse retrieval: On-device Core ML model
Sentiment analysis: On-device model

No Firebase, no cloud AI, no external servers.

5. Children’s Privacy

Bible Journal is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

6. Your Rights & Data Control

You have full control over your data:

Delete any journal entry or all entries at any time
Turn sentiment tracking on or off
Export your journal as text or PDF and then delete everything
Deleting the app removes all your data from the device

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Material changes will be notified inside the app, and the Effective Date will be updated.
